about me

about me

Why hello! My name is Pa Chia.

I am a contemporary Hmong-American artist with a focus on graphic design and photography based in Los Angeles, CA.

Pachiaaa is an expression.

It is my real name, "Pa Chia" elongated when someone calls for my attention.

Since late 2011, Pachiaaa to me is an umbrella for all my artistic creations. As a working graphic designer and photographer, it’s hard to find free time to design without any restraint. Pachiaaa allows me to focus on projects I want devour my time into and freely create.

In my home studio, there’s either acrylic paint on the floor, watercolor nearby, photography lights up or Photoshop open. My passion for art focuses on graphic related projects and photography.

When I was fourteen years old, I discovered Adobe Photoshop. Adobe Photoshop was a power house of everything I was interested in. I quickly taught myself skills from online tutorials and immerse myself into creating digital artworks in small forums. I created web banners for fan fiction stories and mini posters for online romantic comedy authors. It was a beautiful beginning to my graphic design and photography career.

Throughout the years of highschool and college my love for digital art bloomed. Finally, I have decided to sell some of my treasures in hope you adore them as much as I do too.

Here at Pachiaaa, I am delighted to be opening this shop because it is filled with who and what I am. I am able to combine my love for romantic concepts, my historic Hmong culture, and my knowledge of what I felt during a certain age.

Welcome to my studio!
